october's almost gone and still yet to get down to studying proper.
after every exam i'll tell myself that i must start studying earlier lest i regret but somehow when the time comes, no action is taken. haha is it the same for everyone?
can't remember everything i did since i last blogged but there're some significant things :
- walked home from centrepoint. followed the mrt (NEL) route so that's like centrepoint to dhobyghaut to littleindia to farrerpark to boonkeng etc etc. it took me about 2 hours plus? haha. had debs company for half of the journey (: ooh yes. she went to littleindia to thread her brows.
- lunched at newyork newyork with jade hy yimin mina then met seish for a movie - nights in rodanthe
- dinner with azlie and shopped for boonyi's 21st bday present
- before the corporate governance talk at saa i toured aljunied/geylang with cassie. had western food (pretty good for $5.50) for dinner then 油条 and beancurd for dessert. boy were we full!
- imh visit. first the guy (later i found out he was an army officer, which explains his attitude) in charge of the home called and yelled at me because i didnt go and reccee. thanks yh for the kinderbueno! cheered me up. and alvin for the lame jokes. haha.
- but he didn't have to criticise to such an extent (i'm not a NSF!) anyway on the day itself, the kids weren't cooperative. what do you expect? they don't even like mixing with some of their other peers and now they're supposed to open up to the mentally unsound? hah. point is i planned the games and everything but it got a little messy there since alot of them didn't wanna mix. and so ... seishen and i got nagged at/scolded. *
- ade, des and aunty lucia came over earlier. helped my dad fix the projector. so calling all friends, my exams end on 9th dec, after that if ya'll wanna come over to watch movies, let me know! =))
- went exercising with my mum! (((: had fun with the twister things at the "senior citizen workout corner" hahaha.
*aunty xx: tell the kids to get their pens then hand out the appreciation cards

i do just that.
aunty xx: how can you do things without thinking? you must think through the process. the kids must go to the tables and write their cards for the residents at each table so there's no repetition!
seishen flips.
i was too tired to react. just stared at her and nodded. well hello, as it is it's so effing difficult to get the kids to mingle, now you want me to allocate them to each table. why didn't you say so from the start right? it's ME versus 40 kids and 181 residents. hellooooo. but i suppose people or adults to be exact start yelling at whoever's junior when things don't seem to be going the way they want. f.
one more round this coming sunday. shit. why in the world did i even volunteer. people make so much noise and when they asked for volunteers nobody said a shit. ahh forget it. nevermind.
and so revision classes are starting! haha. i'm off for dinner with my parents.
